Paper Accepted At ESWC 2016

A paper entitled VOLT: A Provenance-Producing, Transparent SPARQL Proxy for the On-Demand Computation of Linked Data and its Application to Spatiotemporally Dependent Data by Blake Regalia, Krzysztof Janowicz and Song Gao was accepted (acceptance rate is about 20%) at the 13th Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC 2016), which will takes place from May 29th, 2016 to June 2nd​, 2016 in Anissaras, Crete, Greece.

Task-oriented information value measurement based on space-time prisms

Our recent work on measuring the value of information has been accepted by the International Journal of Geographical Information Science. The proposed framework provides a potential solution for prioritized information display on small-screen devices, such as smartwatches.

STKO at the International Conference on Location-based Social Media Data (ICLSM '15)

The International Conference on Location-based Social Media Data (ICLSM) is taking place today and tomorrow (March 13-14) in Athens, Georgia. The STKO lab was fortunate enough to have two short papers and a full paper accepted at the conference. Lab members Grant McKenzie and Su Han are participating in the conference and presenting these three papers.
